OUR FOUNDER

Minister Oluyemi Awe is the visionary of Onyx of Righteousness Prayer Ministry Team International. Called by God to this role, she has faithfully led the ministry for 20 years.

Minister Awe was born in Owo, Nigeria, where she was raised in a Christian home. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching from the University of Lagos and later obtained a Bachelor’s of Nursing in the United States. On July 10, 2004, she felt led by God to establish Onyx of Righteousness Prayer Ministry Team International.

A devoted wife, Minister Awe and her husband reside in Hollywood, Florida. She is a mother of four children and 1 grandchild and she remains committed to her family. As the international ministry’s leader, she travels extensively, conducting prayer meetings, conferences and crusades to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to empower believers.

With her caring spirit and vision from God, Minister Awe has impacted countless lives through her ministry. She remains dedicated to advancing God’s kingdom through prayer and outreach around the world. Under her direction, Onyx of Righteousness continues growing and establishing new communities of faith globally.
